On the bus to school today, I'm suddenly thinking about this issue.
When I was a kid, my dad brought me and my sisters to a bookstore. I love to read books as a kid, but I'm only allowed to buy just one book.
Out of all the books, that I have never read before, I chose Cinderella, which I can even tell the story from back to front.
Authors of Cinderella and Snow White always end the story with "The Prince and ___ live happily ever after.". In fact, almost every fairy tale end that way.
Has any kid ever wonder why? I don't, when I was a kid. But now, I do.
It is almost impossible to live happily, EVER AFTER.
Fairy Tales are lies. Perhaps thats why they are called fairy tales, not like.. fiction story books.
