Soooooo many tests this term. it's drowning me. ooh man. We had our AC phase test on thursday. Assignment is to do serial dilution of HCl, standardise the pH meter and to measure the pH of the diluted HCl.
Everything went fine for me, well, at least I thought, but not so. Firstly, rinising the pipette felt so weird, because now, without intro chem, we don't practise that so much. Secondly, while standardising the buffer, i forgot to put in the ATC probe. The teacher reminds me to. Thirdly, I couldn't measure the pH of the solution. It just never stable. damn. So what i do is, FILL IN THE BLANKS (ANYHOW!)
And it was until like 2 hours after the phase test then I know why the pH of the solution never stable. It was because.. I DIDN'T INSERT THE ATC PROBE WIRE! HOW NICE. I DON'T EVEN KNOW NEED TO INSERT. I ONLY KNOW NEED TO INSERT THE pH PROBE WIRE. So smart. After I'm done with filling in the blanks and doing the washing up, the teacher helps me to disconnect the wire(s) from the pH meter. I bet she's puzzled, "how did she measure the pH just now? hmm.."
However, the weirdest thing is I don't feel the pain! I don't feel really sad that I lost marks and didn't complain so much. I did rant a little, but much lesser than what I would do last time. I think the main reason is another test off the load. thank you! bye bye! don't come back. I hate you. lol. Next will be GM phase test(ooh man, didn't we just had our class test?=( ), HCMS presentation and LSP phase test. and then, it's holidays! I love holidays! come quickly please! I love you! =)
